Road warriors Greensky Bluegrass premiered their cover of The Allman Brothers Band’s “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More” on Friday night at Lake Olmstead Park in Augusta, Georgia. The set ended a six-week break from live performances for the band and took place as part of Papa Joe’s Banjo-B-Que Music Festival.
Mandolinist Paul Hoffman handled lead vocals on Greensky’s first ever “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More.” The quintet then worked through a cover of Jimmy Martin’s “Hit Parade Of Love.” Next up was “Do It Alone,” one of four songs from their recently released All For Money studio album to make the setlist. GSBG also fit classics “Living Over,” “The Radio Blues,” “The Four” and a cover of Leftover Salmon’s “Breaking Thru” into the set. The band closed out the night with a “Past My Prime” encore.
