He’s rewritten the lyrics to his 2014 tune, “Bringing Back the Sunshine” for the series, and co-stars with about two dozen Sprint Cup standouts — including Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson and Aric Almirola — in its video. The clip [watch below] was filmed at Texas Motor Speedway back in April.
Dierks Bentley can be seen on Fox Sports South during all Atlanta Braves games. In a clip promoting Fox’s live-streaming app, the country singer-songwriter is seen strumming a guitar and watching his favorite MLB team via the app, while his song “Freedom” plays in the background.
And Carrie Underwood is making history this year on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. After a decade of opening the games with “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” — set to Joan Jett’s “I Hate Myself for Loving You” and sung over the years by Underwood, Faith Hill and Pink — the NFL broadcast is getting a new song. Underwood has re-worked her Miranda Lambert duet, “Somethin’ Bad,” into “Oh, Sunday Night.” The video, which she filmed with several football greats, will make its world premiere when the New England Patriots take on the Arizona Cardinals on September 11th.
