The ‘SFW’ Version of Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ Video Features Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber

Kanye West’s “Famous” music video raised a few eyebrows with its (apparently) wax models of nude celebrities sleeping peacefully. It was ten minutes long, arty, detached and, to quote the BBC, “weird as hell.” But, the relationship between imitation and flattery being what it is, the British radio power has responded with its own “SFW” (Safe For Work) version of “Famous.” The nearly-as-famous cast includes Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor, Carly Rae Jepsen, Craig David, Nick Jonas, Troye Sivan, 5 Seconds of Summer, mononymous singer Cheryl, and British TV presenters/comedians Ant & Dec.
Like the original, the “SFW” version features celebrities in bed with “Famous” as a soundtrack. Unlike in Kanye’s, they’re clothed, conscious, and cheery. Highlights include Trainor saying “No.” Watch the clip below.
