Kip Moore busted a fan for texting too often during a recent show, with hilarious results.

Concert experiences have changed — most would say for the worst — since the invention of the smartphone, now that audiences are split about 50/50 between people who are actually engaged in the music and those who are filming the show or texting during it. Well, Kip Moore has finally had enough.

Luckily (or ironically), another fan whipped out their phone and captured the half-serious digital smack down on video.
“Shhh,” he mockingly scolded the crowd as the call went through. “Hey Briana, I’m trying to do a damn show right now. . . and you’re texting the whole time with your friend. You’re talking about some bullshit, it ain’t nothin’ that can’t wait.”
The “Running for You” singer went on to ask for just 30 more minutes of text-free attention before giving the phone back.
“I’m playing with you,” he said, “but I’m not playing with you.”
Moore is currently touring with Miranda Lambert and Brothers Osborne on the Keeper of the Flame Tour, with upcoming shows in Rogers, Arkansas (July 15th), and Kansas City (July 16th).
