Watch Anderson .Paak, Desiigner, and Lil Dicky’s XXL Freshman Cypher

Back in June, XXL announced the 2016 Freshman Class, its ninth annual celebration of 10 “future hip hop stars.” Now, it’s unveiling the 2016 cyphers, which bring three of the freshman together for a group freestyle session. The first features Anderson .Paak, Desiigner, and Lil Dicky. Watch it below. Toward the end of his verse, .Paak raps, “I did some records with Dre/I got my feet in the game/In one year, I changed shit/You niggas is late,” as Desiigner ad-libs. The cypher follows the trio’s individual freestyles and comes on the heels of Desiigner’s recent mixtape, New English.
