The ‘Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular’ grew 50 percent compared to last year’s numbers.
NBC’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular led Monday night’s ratings. Averaging a 1.5 ratings among adults 18-49, the holiday special grew 50 percent compared to last year. Coming in second place for the night was the two-hour special’s one-hour repeat at 10 p.m., which scored a 1.1 rating.
Meanwhile, CBS’ competing Independence Day program Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular only got a 0.8 rating. Over on ABC, Mistresses dropped down to a 0.5 rating, two-tenths of a point below last week. And Houdini & Doyle finale on Fox pulled a 0.4, steady week-to-week.
