Female artists around the world have created an empowering video for the Global Goals Campaign featuring Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.”
The Spice Girls’ girl-power wielding hit “Wannabe” is the hallmark of Global Goals Campaign’s #WhatIReallyReallyWant movement. In a video starring international female artists, the 1996 song is used to shed light on issues affecting young women around the globe such as violence against girls, lack of quality education and child marriage.

Former Spice Girls Victoria Beckham (“Posh”) and Melanie Chisholm (“Sporty”) support the song’s use in the video. Beckham noted that this year is the song’s twentieth anniversary and Mel C. tweeted that she was “flattered and honoured” by the use of the song in the campaign.
