Despite partially barbecuing her RSVP card, Eloise shows up at the wedding, only to find herself situated at the reject table, or as she breaks the news to the rest of the group: “The table that should have known to send regrets, but not before sending something nice off the registry.”
But of course, such dire circumstances are ripe for budding romance and cute jokes, like Eloise accidentally bumping into the cake and Craig Robinson’s character discovering Lisa Kudrow is dressed like one of the reception hall waitstaff.
Table 19 also stars Stephen Merchant, Tony Revolori, June Squibb, Wyatt Russell and Amanda Crew. Jeffrey Blitz directed the film, which is set to open January 20th.
