RiFF RAFF is seeking songwriters and musicians to join his very own country band, the Fader points out. On Instagram this morning, the man known as Jody Highroller announced plans to helm a new, eight-piece country outfit. This October, they’ll record an album in Nashville, Tennessee, before they “travel the globe” when RiFF RAFF wraps up his upcoming Peach Panther tour. The record’s title: Truck Stuff & Butterscotch Butts. Hopefuls are instructed to send their acoustic country recordings to [email protected]. They are reminded that covers will not be accepted.
Last year, RiFF RAFF released a mini-LP called Trench Coat Towers. He also put out a book of poetry called NEON ViBES. Earlier this year, RiFF got embroiled in a pro wrestling match.
